Chillicothe
Elks' Gun Show Labeled "Best Ever"

CAPTION:
The aisles occasionally were a little crowded during the 9th annual
Chillicothe Elks Gun & Knife Show held at the Elks February 12 and
13, 2011, but everyone attending got the opportunity to view the
latest in firearms and knives, as well as many historical weapons. The
weather outside was wonderful; and everyone was in a great mood. This
year's show has been labeled the "best ever" by vendors and
attendees alike.
The
9th annual Chillicothe Elks Gun and Knife Show was held February 12
and 13, 2011, at the lodge in southeast Chillicothe and has been
labeled by both the vendors who came from all over the Midwest to
exhibit their wares and attendees who flocked in to look them over and
buy, sell, or trade, as the "best show ever" in the local
event's history.
The
Elks once again enjoyed a sell-out crowd of vendors, and their tables
were crowded with firearms, knives, and other items appealing to
outdoor and weapons enthusiasts with the latest in firearms and
knives, but also plenty of historical items. Attendees could browse
through the many items, many of which are not seen in stores, and buy,
sell, or trade, or just enjoy the looking and the "jawing."
The
event is a major fundraiser for the community-supporting Chillicothe
Elks Lodge, which uses funds raised through admissions, food sales,
and table rent to help fund community projects and its scholarship
program.
